WHO ARE WE?
Örebro Kårhus is the meeting place for students at Örebro University. We are the student union house, directly translated from Swedish. We offer all students a nice place to study, a café, a pub on Thursdays and nightclub on Fridays – every week we are open!
We are so excited to have exchange students with us, they are an important part of our organisation. For the union house to work, we rely on our student volunteers to work during the café-, nightclub-, and pub opening hours. This is a great way to meet new friends, get the “real uni-experience” and get good merits on your CV.

No, you do not have to be a union member to visit Örebro Kårhus. But union members do get cheaper prices on just about everything from lunches to entries. If you want to try a shift at Kårhuset, you do have to be a Union member. It is simple to become one, and you can choose to be one just for the semester. You buy your membership on the app “Hitract” under “Örebro Studentkår”.

Our social media (instagram) is primarily in Swedish, but everything can be translated to English in the app. All of the storys have a translation posted as a comment.

Nightclub (union member) = 75kr
Nightclub (student price) = 150kr
Nightclub (non-student*) = 200kr
Thursdaypub (union member) = Free
Thursdaypub (student price) = 50kr
Thursdaypub (non-student) = 100kr
*For a non-student to come into Örebro Kårhus nightclub it recqiures a union member to buy a +1 ticket on our Hitract, plus coming with the non-student to the nightclub
YES! Nexus has their own studentteam who works nightclubs, pubs and cafés when they can. You can join them! Email us on teams@orebrokarhus.se and we will sort it out.
All students buy the event-tickets on the app Hitract, under Örebro Kårhus. We will appear if you search our name.
